A new logo for Animal Planet was launched on February 3, 2008 in the United States. The brand was created by Dunning Eley Jones 1 It obtained largely negative reception from the public. It was one of many worst-received logos of 2008, based on Brand New.
There are far more recent mermaid sightings too though.
